It would appear, from the powers that be, that absolutely everything is a trend this Winter including a resurgence in military style, monochrome, black, velvet, the 80′s (including hideous shoulder pads!), scarlet red has hit the runway but hot pink is also proving to be a fav as is layering and muted tones.
